NOBF.NET

The North Oakland Baseball Federation (NOBF) was established in
1983. NOBF currently consists of seven leagues.
The Challenge
NOBF needed a system to manage all administrative duties to replace
their long standing time consuming processes. The
system needed to allow multiple level access and to
integrate with a public web site to dynamically display
all relevant data.
The Solution
An intranet system was built to adequately manage all
administrative duties, scheduling, standings, and game
reports. Multiple access levels were built in to
allow the board of directors, league commissioners and managers
appropriate control. A public web site was built to
integrate with the intranet system in order to provide all
necessary information to the participants without the need
for additional data entry or support.
Business Outcomes
NOBF has saved hundreds
of man-hours each season the system has been in use.
The communication between all groups has been improved and
the participants are able to access the most up-to-date
information immediately.
